HBI Association Ltd. (HBIA), in cooperation the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), will present a half-day seminar on the use of HBI in iron production and steelmaking applications in the Cambria Room at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in Pittsburgh on May 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. The seminar will discuss the characteristics of HBI, the use of HBI in BF iron production and EAF and BOF steelmaking applications, the effect of HBI on greenhouse gas emissions, and guidelines for handling, shipping, and storing HBI.

The price of the seminar is US$200 (stand alone) or US$100 with full AISTech 2008 conference registration. You may register for the course when registering for AISTech.
