Graduate or undergraduate students may present findings on completed
research, research in progress, summer internship experience, university projects
or co-op experiences on any of the subjects listed above. In addition, AIST
holds a Student Project Presentation Contest for undergraduate students each
year. The topic of the project is unlimited, but should be technical in nature.
Student participants will be assigned 15 minute sessions and will be judged on
various aspects of the presentation. Each will receive $300 toward travel reimbursement
and the opportunity to win cash prizes up to $1,500. To enter, visit
the student section of the AIST website.
Abstracts must be received by August 15, 2009.
Once selected, you will be notified with a letter of invitation from AIST headquarters
in November 2009. If your paper is not one of our committees’ original
selections, we will retain your abstract in the case of cancellations in the
program. Your paper would also be a candidate for other upcoming programs
sponsored by AIST.
