Register Early
Save money and avoid on-site registration lines by registering before 16 Apr 2012. After this date, there will be a US$100 increase for conference registration. Registration material will be mailed to U.S. addresses only. All other attendee registration material will be available at the Self–Registration Look Up & Print areas at the Georgia World Congress Center beginning at noon on Sunday, 6 May.
Full conference registration includes admission to all Conference Sessions, the exposition, the Town Hall Forum, a Town Hall Lunch Coupon for the Exhibit Hall, and one set of Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM. Print editions of the Conference Proceedings will be available for sale at the AIST Service Center on the exposition floor.
One-day conference registration includes all conference events for the day of purchase, one set of Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM and admission to all Technical Sessions for one day: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and the Exhibit Hall every day.
Attention Nonmembers
Nonmember paid conference registrations are entitled to a complimentary AIST membership. All member benefits and privileges are activated when a membership form is completed and returned to the AIST Service center on the exposition floor. Membership is valid through 31 December 2012.
Attention Students
Students are required to submit a copy of their full-time student ID card to AIST Member Services e-mail or fax to +1.724.814.3001.
President’s Award Breakfast
The President’s Award Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, 8 May in the Thomas Murphy Ballroom. Advance single tickets are US$40. Tables of 10 are available for US$350. Advance purchase tickets and tables must be picked up at the registration area at the Georgia World Congress Center before 5 p.m. on Monday, 7 May. All on-site single ticket sales will be US$45, if seating is still available.
Donate to the AIST Foundation
Each year the AIST Foundation offers numerous scholarships to graduating high school seniors, with preference given to those studying engineering and other technical professions. Help the AIST Foundation secure the future of the steel industry by generously donating in support of the scholarship programs. Contributions to the AIST Foundation may be tax deductible.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing and be mailed, faxed or e–mailed to the AIST office. Cancellations received prior to 16 April 2012 will receive a full registration refund minus a US$25.00 handling fee. Cancellations received after 16 April 2012 will result in forfeiture of the entire registration fee. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted as requests for refund. If you would like to send a substitute, a new registration form must be mailed, e–mailed or faxed for that person, indicating the substitution. Be certain that the membership status of each person is equivalent or note otherwise.
