Steelmaker of the Year Award
History and Purpose
The AIST Steelmaker of the Year Award, established in 1991, recognizes contributions of a prominent individual to the steel industry.
Nominations shall be made by completing Sections 1 through 5 of the AIST Award Nomination Form. Five letters of endorsement, a biography and proposed citation are required with each nomination.
Candidates will be considered from both integrated and minimill steel producing companies from throughout the world.
The AIST Awards Program Committee shall narrow the field to three candidates. The AIST Executive Committee shall select a final candidate.
