The
AIST Steelmaker of the Year Award, established in 1991,
recognizes contributions of a prominent individual to the
steel industry.
Nomination
Process:
Nominations
shall be made by completing Sections 1 through 5 of the AIST
Award Nomination
Form. Five letters of endorsement, a biography
and proposed citation are required with each nomination.
Qualifications:
Candidates will be considered from both integrated and minimill
steel producing companies from throughout the world.
Selection
Process:
The
AIST Awards Program Committee shall narrow the field to three
candidates. The AIST Executive Committee shall select a final
candidate.
