History of the AIST Northwest Member Chapter

The AISE Northwest District Section was formed in 1982. In 1975, the Iron and Steel Society (ISS) formed the Western section. With the merger of AISE and ISS in 2004, the AISE Northwest section and parts of the ISS Western section were consolidated to form the AIST Northwest Member Chapter. The current AIST Northwest Member Chapter includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
