The Course — Eagle Creek Golf Club served as host to the prestigious USGA Public Links Championship in 1982 and is consistently ranked as one of Indiana’s top public courses by Golf Digest magazine. Discover the essence of “pure” golf as you play through the beauty of a natural park setting that incorporates numerous nature areas, wetlands, animal habitats and rolling terrain. With 36 holes to choose from, Eagle Creek Golf Club is considered a golf destination that caters to players of all skill levels.
How to Register — A registration form will appear in the February through April issues of Iron & Steel Technology. Registration deadline is April 15, 2007. The cost to register is US$150 per player, or US$600 per foursome. Foursomes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and will be reserved upon payment only. No refunds. Golf clubs will be available for rent at an additional cost of US$10 if reserved by April 15. Transportation will be provided from the Marriott Hotel if a seat is reserved by April 15.
Sponsorship Opportunities Available
Six levels of sponsorship for the AIST Foundation Golf Classic are available
Corporate Sponsorship - $5,000 - Offers the sponsor many name advertising opportunities including company logo on all promotional materials, the registration form, the Iron & Steel Technology magazine (Feb. through show issue in May), AISTech 2007 information on the Web site, company name and logo on all signage.
Cart Sponsorship - $2,500 - Offers a sign on each golf cart with the company name.
Junior Sponsorships - $1,000 - Offers sponsor’s company name on signage for either the beverage carts or the luncheon.
Tee and Green with Contest - $500 - Offers sponsor’s company name on signage at a tee and a green, along with the opportunity to present the prize to the contest winner at the prize presentations in the exhibit hall.
Tee and Green - $250 - Offers sponsor’s company name on signage at one tee and one green.
Tee or Green - $175 - Offers sponsor’s company name on signage at one tee or one green.
Contest Prizes - $100 and up - Offers the sponsor the option of choosing and purchasing a contest prize, or donating money toward the purchase of a contest prize. Company name will be announced at the prize presentations in the exhibit hall.
Door Prizes –Donation of any item that can be given as a door prize at the prize presentations. Company name will be announced when the prize is presented.
In addition to the specific sponsorship benefits listed above, all sponsors are listed on signage at the golf course and exhibit hall, are included on a list provided to all golfers, and are listed on a one-page “thank-you” in the follow-up issue of Iron & Steel Technology magazine.
