History

The AIST Mexico Member Chapter was established in June of 1995 as the ISS Mexico Chapter and was the first International AIST Member Chapter. The Mexico Member Chapter exists to provide steel industry professionals in Mexico with information about upcoming AIST Mexico Chapter events, other international AIST events, industry information, opportunities for scholarships and networking. Also, the AIST Member Chapter publishes Hierro Y Acero quarterly.

Dual AIST/AIST Mexico Chapter Membership

The dual membership includes a professional membership with AIST and a membership with the AIST Mexico Member Chapter. Only residents of Mexico are eligible for this membership.
