| AIST is pleased to announce a new benefit for members: five free individual magazine article or conference proceeding downloads, per year, at SteelLibrary.com. Take advantage of the expanding library of digital documents at our online bookstore to further your research and increase your knowledge base. CLICK HERE for more information.
Five Easy Steps:
- Login in to SteelLibrary.com using your AIST member ID and password. You must use your AIST member ID and password to access the Free Downloads.
- Click on Free Downloads on the left-hand menu. You can select either Magazine Articles or Conference Proceedings or search for a topic using the search box on the top of the page or the Search left-hand menu item.
- Select up to five papers by clicking on the green shopping cart on the far right-hand side of the listing. This will enter the paper into your shopping cart.
- Select the shopping cart icon on the top menu or Shopping Cart on the left menu. View Shopping Cart will display the items currently selected. Free Download items will have FREE DOWNLOAD after the title of the paper or article, as well as a $0.00 price.
- Proceed to Checkout. There will be no price listed for the items in your order. Click Place Order and you are done. The next screen will show the details of your order and the link to download the article or paper (Click Here to Download). You can also access the link to download the file by selected Resources>My Downloads on the left-hand menu.
Important information to remember:
- The Five Free Downloads benefit runs on a calendar year basis. All members’accounts will be re-set January 1 of each year.
- Once you have reached your yearly limit for free downloads, you will not be able to select the green Free Download shopping cart.
- PDF versions of Technical Reports are not included in this program.
