Benteler Steel/Tube, a business unit of the global Benteler Group, which is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, is building a 320,000-ton-per-year facility in Louisiana. Construction is on track to be completed in late 2014, with manufacturing operations beginning in the second half of 2015.

OAO TMK (TMK) is Russia’s largest manufacturer and exporter of steel pipes. It has production plants in Russia, the U.S. (TMK IPSCO), Romania and Kazakhstan.

California Steel Industries

CSI is the only West Coast steel supplier manufacturing five different product lines: hot rolled, pickled and oiled, galvanized and cold rolled sheet, and electric resistance welded pipe.


Headquartered in Houston, TMK IPSCO is a North American producer of welded and seamless pipe and premium connections. It is a subsidiary of Russia's TMK.



China's Tianjin Pipe (Group) Corp. is investing US$1 billion through TPCO America (with U.S.-joint venture partners) to build a seamless pipe manufacturing facility in Gregory, Texas.

Energex Tube

Energex Tube is an OCTG and line pipe producer in North America. It has operating facilities in Thomasville, Ala.; Welland, Ont.; and Wheatland, Pa.; and two processing plants under construction in Thomasville. Previously known as Lakeside Steel, Energex was made a division of JMC Steel Group after JMC's purchase of Lakeside in 2012.
