  • Caster Best Paper Award:  “New Pseudo 3-D Dynamic Secondary Cooling Model Implementation and Results at ArcelorMittal Burns Harbor by Kenneth Blazek, Rudolf Moravec, Kai Zheng, Michael Lowry, Nicholas Gregurich, and Garrett Flick. 

 

Review Mission Statement

  • To provide a forum on continuous casting to learn about new and current technologies, discuss safe operational and maintenance practices, as well as network with industry professionals of all disciplines.

  • SDI Columbia City will be the host plant

  • CCTC requested a program change for this training seminar that would move the committee meeting to Wednesday morning during the training seminar

 

2017 Japan Caster Study Tour

  • Date will be 5-11 November 2017

  • Registration is open for CCTC & MSCTC producer members

  • Limited number will be 21 members
