About the Event

This program will emphasize candid conversation on the practical solutions and economic drivers for technology innovation within the European and North American steel industry. The line-up will cover the latest developments in CO2-Free Steelmaking, Alternative Iron Feedstocks, Enhanced Safety with Robotics and Innovations in Plant Design.
A unique panel of industry leaders from Europe and North America will debate the key issues and opportunities for creating a sustainable steel industry. We’ll also discuss student perceptions of the steel industry and recruitment strategies as we aim to secure our steel workforce of tomorrow.
Plant tours of voestalpine Stahl Donawitz, Breitenfeld Edelstahl and Redwerk IV are included.

This event will emphasize candid conversation on the dynamics of European steelmakers and their global customers. The line-up will cover global trade, product innovation, sustainability challenges and supply chain economics.
Commercial steel markets within the European industry are changing quite dramatically. We’ll hear from a variety of CEOs regarding their forecasts for steel imports, exports, trade… and the strategies necessary for steel success.  
A plant tour of Arvedi’s Cremona facility is included.
