Baekkyoo Jeong

Baekkyoo Jeong is currently serving as a section leader at the Technology Strategy Office of POSCO. After earning his bachelor's degree from Seoul National University, he began his career at POSCO's steelmaking department in 2004, where he gained extensive field experience and expertise over the next 20 years. He received his master's degree from POSTECH in 2014 and holds a Professional Engineer license in metallurgical engineering. He also spent four years working at POSCO's overseas steel works in Krakatau, Indonesia. Since 2024, he has been responsible for carbon neutrality initiatives at the Technology Strategy Office of POSCO.
