José Noldin José Noldin is a co-founder and chief executive officer of GravitHy, an industrial company pioneering the production of direct reduced iron (DRI) using low-carbon hydrogen to decouple iron from steelmaking, bridging the competitiveness gap, enabling decarbonization and reinforcing Europe’s industrial sovereignty via a strong steel industry. He is leading the development of GravitHy’s €2+ billion flagship project in Fos-sur-Mer, France, and has guided the company through a successful €60 million Series A and other major milestones like the recognition of GravitHy as a Project of Major National Interest. A Ph.D. in metallurgical engineering and chair of the AIST European Member Chapter, Dr. Noldin is a respected voice in industrial policy and has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to the iron, steel and sustainability sectors. |
