Michigan Seamless Tube Named One of Michigan's Top Workplaces for 2013

11/20/2013 - Michigan Seamless Tube, LLC (MST) has been recognized by the Detroit Free Press and WorkplaceDynamics, an independent research firm specializing in developing surveys that measure organizational health, as one of Michigan’s Top Workplaces.
“I am incredibly proud and honored to have MST recognized for its workplace environment,” said Les Whitver, vice president of operations at MST. “Our employees truly are our most valuable assets, and the recent improvements at the plant have been designed to ensure they have the resources necessary to best position the enterprise for sustained success. Over the past 80 years, the South Lyon community has served as an ideal location to establish and grow a culture of collaboration and excellence, and we look forward to adding to MST’s rich history moving forward.”
The Top Workplace Awards are based upon feedback from an employee survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, which has conducted Top Workplace surveys with newspapers in more than 25 major metro areas since 2006. The annual list marks the culmination of a regional competition to determine which organizations lead their industries in offering exceptional workplace environments. The survey evaluates companies based on an organization’s values, execution, leadership and culture.
The Detroit Free Press published the complete list of Michigan’s Top Workplaces on Sunday, 17 November.
