Sushma Walker serves as president of Business Technology for Nucor Corp., North America’s largest and most diversified steel and steel products company. In her role, Walker is responsible for leading Nucor’s Enterprise Information and Digital Technology team, along with the Business Application Solution across Nucor’s Steelmaking Divisions. She began her career at Nucor in 2004 as an IT programmer, having worked in IT within the manufacturing sector prior to joining the company. At Nucor, she has held multiple IT roles and served for three years as part of Nucor’s Leadership & Development Team. In 2020, she was promoted to general manager of Business Technology for Nucor at the company’s Corporate Office in Charlotte, N.C., USA. She was promoted to her current role of vice president of Nucor Corp., president of Business Technology, effective 1 January 2023.
