The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) continue to address the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) at national and global levels. AIST is actively monitoring this concern and will continue to follow CDC / WHO guidance, provide updates and adjust strategy if recommended. The health and safety of our industry is a shared responsibility and one that we take seriously. As such, AIST’s top priority is focused on the health and safety of all participants at AIST events.

We are taking steps to protect our employees and visitors, while minimizing the risk of disruption for AIST members. AIST is operational, with all staff currently working from home. We are fully equipped to accommodate this arrangement.

In the meantime, AIST remains open for business as we continue to prioritize each aspect of the situation including:

  • Our contingency planning for AISTech and other events

  • Adjustments to our publication schedule(s)

  • Implementation of virtual Technology Committee meetings during periods of travel restrictions and for international participation
