Marco Ometto obtained his scientific high school diploma in 1982 and has completed various ITC specialization courses. In 1986, he joined a leading machine tool manufacturer as a programmer and stayed until 1994 as head of the Technical Office. He joined Danieli Automation in 1994 as project leader for the development of manufacturing execution systems (mes) in the metals area. He has held a series of progressively responsible roles at Danieli since then, and currently serves as manager in charge of the digitization process of Danieli Automation. He was appointed executive vice president for Digi&Met and member of the board of directors of Danieli Automation in 2016.
