President & Chief Operating Officer

Kris Westbrooks, president and chief operating officer for Metallus, was promoted to this role in June 2025, after initially joining the company in September 2018 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. In his role as president and chief operating officer, Westbrooks oversees Metallus’ safety, manufacturing operations and excellence, and supply chain organizations, fostering cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. He drives alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives while supporting its growth objectives. Prior to joining Metallus, he served as vice president, chief accounting officer, and corporate controller at A. Schulman, an international supplier of high-performance plastic formulations, resins and services, where he was responsible for leading the integration of the company’s merger with LyondellBasell. Prior to that, Westbrooks was a global accounting consultation manager and senior financial analyst for The Procter & Gamble Co., a multinational manufacturer of consumer goods. He also has experience in external auditing, having begun his career at PwC after earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy at Miami University.
