Tenaris' steel shop sits in the heart of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, serving as a key component to Tenaris' U.S. manufacturing network. With a history that spans more than 100 years, the facility tells the rich tale of American steelmaking, producing solid steel bars used to manufacture seamless casing and tubing for the country's largest oil and gas operators. Since acquiring the mill in 2020, Tenaris has invested more than US$140 million in safety, automation and sustainability, including recent upgrades to the electric arc furnace and caster at the steel shop and the addition of a new baghouse, or fume exhaust system, to ensure a cleaner environment for employees and the community in Koppel, Pa. Tenaris is a leading producer of oil country tubular goods products in the U.S., with more than 3,650 employees across 10 manufacturing facilities including service centers, seamless and welded production facilities, and coating facilities.
