The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) is dedicated to investing in the education and professional development of individuals in the iron and steel industry, starting with those enrolled in college.

This session will build on findings from our April meeting and will focus on actionable strategies for improving university engagement and recruiting alignment.

Topics include:

• Top university recruiting sources used by industry partners
• Misalignment between AIST Steel Intern Scholarship recipients and high-priority recruiting schools
• Strategies to build relationships with universities offering metallurgy and materials programs
• Methods to increase university student participation in AIST programs and events
