"Introduction to Executive Presence"
Shann McGrail, Executive Director, Haltech
How we are perceived is one of the most important factors in our leadership portfolio. Projecting executive presence outweighs competence and experience as a critical factor in career advancement. Falling short in this area is often cited as the biggest barrier to pursuing more senior positions. Alarmingly, most women are provided vague or no useful feedback for making improvements in this all-important area. This session sheds light on the elements of executive presence, introduces participants to techniques from the field of improvisation and executive coaching to increase presence and address the most common challenges women face in the workplace.
