9/24/2013 - MMFX Steel Corporation welcomes Bassam Saddawi as its new corporate engineering manager. Saddawi will provide engineering guidance to business development and project management activities across North America to further the acceptance and use of MMFX steel products.
Saddawi has more than 19 years of extensive international experience in project and construction management, as well as design engineering. “Bassam has managed large and complex private development and public works projects in the United States, Canada and the Middle East,” said Salem Faza, vice president of engineering and specifications for MMFX Technologies Corporation and president of MMFX Steel DMCC. “His track record in developing new business and opportunities will benefit the current growth in the adoption rate of MMFX’s technology.”
Prior to joining MMFX, Saddawi served as a senior project manager and team leader for AECOM. There he provided technical expertise to value engineering applications during design, construction, operation and maintenance phases of structures. These phases include feasibility, conceptual engineering, design consultant tendering and delivery, contractor tendering, construction project management, closeout and the handover to operations.
