AIST Northeastern Ohio Member Chapter
Scholarship Application

To qualify for these scholarships:

  • You must be the child of an AIST Member currently active in the AIST Northeastern Ohio Member Chapter, or be an AIST Student Member through the Material Advantage Student Program who attends a university or lives within the Northeastern Ohio Member Chapter area.

  • You must be enrolled full-time in engineering or metallurgy at an accredited North American university.

  • Must have a minimum university GPA of 2.5.

To complete this application you must submit:

  • A current resume with work experience and any extracurricular activities, noting any leadership positions.

  • A 1-2 page essay on your purpose for continuing education, recent experience and how it effects your future plans, your greatest accomplishments and the satisfaction they provide, reason you should be selected to receive this scholarship.

  • A copy of your university transcript. (High school students should provide their high school transcript)

  • One recommendation letter is required from a counselor, teacher or professor.

  • The name, company and AIST Member number of your parent or your AIST Student Member Number.
