    • Decarbonizing the Blast Furnace Webinar - The first webinar was held May 6th at 10:30 am eastern time and was themed ‘Decarbonizing Background and Current BF Fuel Strategies’

  • AIST’s members would like to visit the following facilities in Japan:

    • JFE Steel, East works in Chiba

    • JFE Steel, West work Kurashiki in Mizushima

    • Mitsbushi Kasei, Sakaide

    • NSSMC, Nagoya in Aichi

    • NSSMC, Kashima in Ibaraki

  • The members are also interested in visiting a facility with SCOPE21 and coal moisture control. A possible plant having this is Oita Works.
