    • Thin and thick slab, bloom, beam blank, billet and near-net-shape casting machines; caster modeling; new and emerging innovations and technology in continuous casting including digitalization related to Industry 4.0; improvements and/or renovations in machine design to optimize operations relating to: safety, quality, productivity, reliability, energy, maintenance and the environment.

      • Tadeusz Sendzimir Memorial Award—to recognize achievements and engineering contributions in developing process equipment for the steel industry.

    • 2022 Continuous Casting—A Practical Training Seminar

  • South Korea Study Tour

    • At this time there is still a mandatory 14 day quarantine period for anyone entering Korea that had not been vaccinated in Korea. Until this is lifted for potential travel of AIST members from US and Canada the study tour is still on hold.
