J. Keith Brimacombe Memorial and AIME Keynote Lecture

The AIST J. Keith Brimacombe Memorial Lecture Award was established in 1999 to honor Dr. J. Keith Brimacombe’s outstanding accomplishments in the area of process metallurgy, his dedication to the steel industry and his profound effect on people in the industry. The 2026 Brimacombe Memorial Lecture at AISTech 2026 will also serve as the AIME Keynote Lecture, which happens every four years when the AIST representative is the president of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME).
