Academic Faculty Engagement Program

Approved by the AIST Foundation Board in October 2013, this program aims to increase academic faculty participation at AISTech and strengthen connections between the steel industry and university research advancements.

The AIST Foundation sponsors the following benefits:

• AISTech Registration – Academic (Non-Student) Discount
   University and trade/technical school faculty receive 50% off AISTech registration. The discount is available during the online registration process.
• AISTech Exhibitor – University/Trade School Exhibit Space Discount
  Accredited universities and trade/technical schools in North America may rent a single 10’ x 10’ exhibit space at 50% off to promote their steel-related programs. Booths are located in or near the AISTech Exhibit Hall and include Package A. To secure space, contact Cate Davidson.

Package A includes:

• (1) 10’ x 10’ exhibit space 
• (2) chairs
• (1) skirted table (6’ long × 30” high × 24” wide)
• (1) 10’ × 10’ standard carpet
• (1) wastebasket

Exhibitors are responsible for any costs beyond Package A, including additional booths, larger booths or additional furnishings.
