Leadership and Governance
All leadership positions in the AIST Foundation require membership in AIST and active employment in the iron and steel industry. Refer to the Bylaws for term duration and other requirements.
Board of Trustees
The activities, properties and affairs are managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of 12 members of AIST, appointed by the AIST Board of Directors. In addition, the Treasurer, Secretary and the Executive Director of AIST shall serve as ex officio, nonvoting members.
Steel to Students (S2S) Roundtable
The purpose of the Steel to Students (S2S) Roundtable is to provide an open forum for educators and industry stakeholders to align workforce development for the next generation. The objectives are to increase the number of faculty teaching steel-related curriculum and the number of students pursuing careers in the steel industry.
