Norman D. Hodgson Outstanding Achievement Award

History and Purpose

Established in 2007 to honor Norman D. Hodgson for his persistence, diligence and patience in the establishment of the former AIST Plate Rolling Operating Committee, essential to the exchange of ideas and concepts resulting in continual improvements in the plate industry. The Plate Rolling Technology Committee shall determine each year if an award recipient shall be selected as an author(s) of an outstanding paper, or an individual who has demonstrated outstanding contribution and enhancement to plate production. Authors for consideration will be consolidated over the years during which an outstanding contributor has been awarded.
