Mohamed Saleh is environment and sustainability manager at Emirates Steel. He has 13 years of experience in steel industry. In his role, he is responsible for environment and sustainability performance, compliance, risk assessment, training and monitoring. Saleh holds a master’s degree in environmental science and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, along with certifications as a lead auditor for ISO standards in Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Energy Management (ISO 50001), and Health & Safety (ISO 45001). He is also NEBOSH certified in Environmental Management, and he has a wide experience in sustainability and greenhouse gas reporting frameworks. His diverse educational background and extensive experience in the steel industry; environmental, social and governance issues; and sustainability management enable him to develop and implement effective strategies and initiatives.
