Ramy A. Wahab Yakout is an occupational health manager at Ezz Steel with more than 15 years of industrial experience in occupational health and safety, process safety, risk assessment and sustainability-related frameworks within the steel industry. He is currently serving as sustainability manager, leading the establishment of the first ESG & Sustainability Strategy for Ezz Steel Group, in addition to supporting the development of the group’s first Decarbonization Plan in alignment with emerging global climate and carbon regulations, including carbon border adjustment mechanism requirements. He is pursuing his M.Sc. degree at Alexandria University, where his research focuses on risk assessment methodologies and industrial risk management approaches.
