Safety and Health Fundamentals
About the Program
This conference will address new solutions to reinforce and improve safety and health initiatives at metal-producing facilities. These discussions will not only benefit facility personnel but also suppliers, vendors and contractors that visit these facilities. Topics include: maintenance work requests, fall protection, workplace violence and presentations from three of the 2014 Don B. Daily Memorial Fund Grant recipients. The objectives of the grant are to promote a safe workplace for the steel manufacturing industry, to increase the number of students who study health and safety awareness relative to the manufacturing environment, and to provide direct student interaction for awareness of the steel industry.
Who Should Attend
All individuals responsible for health and safety in the plant environment including managers, supervisors, health and safety professionals, hourly employees, contractors, vendors and suppliers.
