A Stainless Steel With Improved Resistance to Hydrogen Embrittlement Hits the Market
07/12/2023 - Nippon Steel has begun shipping a new stainless steel that’s better able to resist embrittlement from contact with liquefied hydrogen, reports Nikkei Asia.
According to the publication, the steelmaker is planning to start full-scale sales of the product to hydrogen refueling stations during the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2024.
