04 May 2026 - HYUNDAI-POSCO Louisiana Steel LLC has signed an electricity supplier and has selected Danieli to build a direct-reduction plant and meltshop for its planned electric arc furnace (EAF) flat-products mill.
Air Liquide to Invest US$350 Million to Strengthen Footprint, Support Hyundai-POSCO Green Facility
22 April 2026 - Air Liquide announced it has entered a contract with Hyundai-POSCO Louisiana LLC (HPLS) to supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon for the new green steel facility in Louisiana and will invest over US$350 million to create an air separation unit (ASU) in St. James Parish, La., USA.
