SSAB to Supply GE Vernova’s Wind Towers With IEA Standard Green Steel

24 September 2025 - SSAB ZeroTM steel produced with hydrogen-reduced iron from HYBRIT® technology has met the International Energy Agency (IEA) near-zero steel and First Movers Coalition (FMC) thresholds and will be used in GE Vernova’s onshore wind towers.
