18 June 2025 - ArcelorMittal announced today that it has acquired Nippon Steel Corp.’s 50% equity stake in AM/NS Calvert, true to the equity purchase agreement the companies made last year subject to Nippon Steel completing its acquisition of United States Steel Corporation.
