Algoma Steel Resumes EAF Production, LSP Turbine Remains Unavailable
03 September 2026 - Algoma Steel Group Inc. announced that it has enacted interim operating arrangements to resume electric arc furnace (EAF) production while the affected Lake Superior Power (LSP) turbine remains out of service.
