Acerinox Halts Merger Discussions With Rival

06/07/2022 - Stainless steel maker Acerinox has ended merger discussions with Aperam, reports the Reuters news service.

“The board of the company in a meeting (Monday) agreed unanimously not to continue with the preliminary talks with Aperam to evaluate a possible corporate operation,” Acerinox said, according to Reuters, citing a filing with Spain's stock market regulator.
