AFRY said the acquisition will further strengthen its capabilities within core industrial sectors in the Americas, unlocking new growth opportunities. Reta operates across multiple industries in Brazil and manages many capital investment projects and local operational services.

Combining their niche expertise with AFRY’s global platform creates a strong foundation for future growth in the region,” said Nicholas Oksanen, executive vice president and head of global division industry at AFRY. 

Reta’s 200 employees will join AFRY’s existing operations which includes over 1,200 employees in Brazil.

The acquisition is subject to operational closing conditions and expected to close in Q3 2025, the company said.
