Al Tanmiya Sells Iraqi Steel Plant
04/27/2022 - Jordan's Al Tanmiya Steel has completed the sale of its steel operations in Al-Zubair, Basra, Iraq, for US$195 million, according to Iraq-Business News.
Al Tanmiya had full ownership of Al Anmaa for Construction Materials Production, which operates the steel plant in Al-Zubar. Al Anmaa has been acquired by Alghad Almutkamel for General Trading and Iron and Steel Metallic Industries.
Al Tanmiya is 65% owned by Saudi Arabian industrial conglomerate Astra Industrial Group, with Al Maseera International owning the remaining 35%, according to Iraq-Business News.
