All Assets of ISB Acquired by Wintriss Controls Group
01/13/2026 - Wintriss Controls Group LLC announced it has acquired all assets of ISB in Montreal, Que., Canada, as of 1 October 2025, forming a new company named Wintriss Controls Group ULC, DBA Wintriss ISB.
ISB is a safety equipment manufacturer for the metal forming industry. Its portfolio includes light curtains, press brake guarding systems and other safety products. Wintriss has a line of Shadow® light curtains along with its safety solutions for presses and press brakes, the company said.
“ISB has many years of proven expertise in light curtain and press brake guarding technology, making them an ideal fit alongside our leading Shadow Light Curtain line, while further strengthening our combined brands as the preeminent safety solution in metal forming,” said Keith Magnant, president of Wintriss Controls.
The company said the existing ISB facility will continue to operate out of Montreal. Wintriss will begin offering new Shadow 10 light curtains in the first quarter of 2026. Service and repair of the light curtains will take place at Wintriss headquarters in Acton, Mass., USA.
