Alleima Unveils Tube Mill Production Facility
06/03/2026 - Alleima announced it has inaugurated its SEK330 million Tube Mill 2026 production facility in Sandviken, Sweden,, primed to meet the demand for nuclear power and small modular reactors.
The company said the expansion includes the upgrade and reopening of one of its production facilities for steam generator tubes. The facility will increase the company’s production capacity by an estimated 60%.
“By upgrading and reopening our tube mill, we strengthen our ability to meet the growing demand within the nuclear segment, both for conventional nuclear power plants and for small modular reactors,” said Göran Björkman, chief executive officer of Alleima.
The company said the new facility will generate almost 100 more employees.
The company said the project is complete and the facility will be operational during 2026.
