ANDRITZ Galvanizing Line Starts Up at Nucor Steel–Arkansas
03/29/2022 - The international technology group announced yesterday it successfully started up the new 500,000-tons-per-year galvanizing line at Nucor Steel’s facility in Blytheville, Ark., USA.
The new galvanizing line produces high-strength coated products for the automotive industry. According to a press release from ANDRITZ, the first galvanized coil was produced in December.
The company engineered the mechanical equipment, supplied electrical and automation equipment, and provided installation and commissioning services on-site.
