ANDRITZ Receives Order for Sheet Processing Equipment
12/07/2020 - Chinese flat and long steel producer Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Co. Ltd. has ordered a cut-to-length line and leveler from ANDRITZ, the technology supplier has said.
According to ANDRITZ, the equipment will be used to produce ultrahigh-strength steel grades in thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm and in widths of 2,130 mm.
ANDRITZ will supply the mechanical and electrical equipment and oversee start-up, it said.
The equipment is to enter service in the fourth quarter of next year.
