ANDRITZ Tapped for High-Capacity Coating Line Project
05/12/2021 - Taiwan’s Prosperity Tieh has contracted ANDRITZ to build a new high-capacity pickling and galvanizing line, the equipment manufacturer reports.
According to ANDRITZ, the order includes the primary equipment – the pickling section, the galvanizing section and two skinpass mills; an entry section laser welder and a sidetrimmer; a direct-fired furnace for heat-to-coat operation; the chemical coaters and associated drying equipment; and the electrical and automation equipment.
ANDRITZ said the line will produce hot-dip galvanized and zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated flat steel. Start-up is scheduled for mid-2023.
