ANDRITZ to Supply Cut-to-Length Line for Taylor Steel Inc.
01/17/2022 - ANDRITZ Metals USA Inc. has received an order from flat-roll steel processor Taylor Steel Inc. to supply a new Herr-Voss Stamco cut-to-length line at its facility in Stoney Creek, Ont., Canada.
According to ANDRITZ, the line processes 0.625-inch by 72-inch-wide material with an incoming coil capacity of 80,000 lbs.
The line is based on Herr-Voss Stamco’s precision roller-leveler technology and includes two Precision Leveler® units equipped with the Punch-N-Go® leveler control system. The equipment comprises a precision roll feed system and a production shear that can cut both long and short blanks.
