Aperam Finalizes Divestment of French Welded Tube Business
04/05/2017 - Stainless and specialty steel producer Aperam has the completed the sale of its French welded stainless tube business, the company has announced.
Aperam sold Aperam Stainless Services & Solutions Tubes Europe to investment firm mutares AG through a deal announced in January. Aperam said it divested the business, which recorded sales of EUR64 million and shipments of 22,000 metric tons in 2016, because it was not a core part of its operations.
