ArcelorMittal, Nippon Steel Adding Processing Capabilities to JV Mill
06/01/2022 - Joint-venture partners Nippon Steel Corp. and ArcelorMittal are investing US$1.1 billion in an Indian steel works as they target value-added production, reports Nikkei Asia.
According the publication, the companies plan to install a cold mill and a hot-dip galvanizing line at their Hazira steel works in India. The processing lines are expected to start in 2024.
