ArcelorMittal Building Solutions to Establish North American HQ, New Facility in Georgia
06/10/2026 - ArcelorMittal Building Solutions has decided to establish its North American headquarters (HQ) and a new manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County, Ga., USA, Governor Brian Kemp announced.
According to a press release from Kemp’s office, the HQ and manufacturing facility will also include a training site. Construction is expected to commence in the second half of 2026 while operations will begin in the second half of 2027.
“We are bringing advanced insulated panel manufacturing closer to our customers, with a focus on speed, reliability, and consistent quality. The facility will operate with state-of-the-art production technology and support a broad range of building applications across the region,” said Jean Kennel, chief executive officer of ArcelorMittal Building Solutions.
The press release said the initial investment will be about US$57 million and bring up to 70 jobs to the community. They have plans to invest an additional US$50 million and bring up to 70 additional jobs over the next several years.
“These 140 jobs aren’t just numbers; they are real opportunities for people and families to earn strong wages and have a better future. This is exactly the kind of growth we’re working to deliver, and we’re proud to welcome it to Macon,” said Macon-Bibb Mayor Lester Miller.
